Charitable Giving

Since   our   founding  in 1981, Robertson  Lowstuter  has   recognized  the connection between superior coaching, strong communities, and good  business. Our motto "Create Uncommon Results!"® is a universal call-to-action, for both businesses and individuals to go beyond what is expected and do more.
 
We are honored to be actively involved in charitable causes that expand what is possible for both children and adults. These are our primary charitable causes:
 

Canine Companions – Dan Barber, one of our senior consultants, first introduced R│L to Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). As Labrador puppy raisers, he and his wife, Jane, have raised and trained 8 puppies for CCI. They know firsthand how this non-profit organization has enhanced the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. Headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA, CCI is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. The result is a life full of increased independence and loving companionship.

Room to Read – We first met John Wood, Founder & CEO of Room to Read and former Microsoft marketing executive, through R/L alumni, Art Miller. R│L embraced the practice that Room to Read partners with local communities to provide learning and developmental opportunities to children in developing nations. This includes establishing libraries, creating local language literature, constructing schools, providing education to children, and establishing computer labs. By seeking to intervene early in the lives of children, education empowers them to improve socioeconomic conditions for their families, communities, countries, and future generations. Through the opportunities that only education can provide, R│L joins Room to Read in striving to break the cycle of poverty, one child at a time.
